Dear colleagues,
Here's a piece of news for middle school "collège" teachers who started teaching in September 2005. We've just received a ministerial note stating that the period of the CAPES  exam is from Jan 09 to Feb 16. Teachers who are concerned have to consult their school administration to fill in an application form for this exam as soon as possible.
According to the regulations in this respect a jury made up of the inspector and two senior teachers attend two different lessons with the candidate's classes and then have a feedback session after that. Each lesson is scored/20 and the discussion is/20 ( Total/60).
Evaluation of the jury is based on:
•	The performance of the teacher and the students in the two lessons
•	Teacher's documents ( i.e; lesson preparation sheets, lesson record book - cahier de textes-, quizzes and tests and any other relevant documents provided by the candidate.
•	Students' notebooks
•	Discussion with the jury
